In the fast-moving consulting and software industry, three decades is practically an eternity. PPI is therefore one of the most experienced companies in the market. The company was founded in 1984; at that time as Pape und Partner Informationssysteme GmbH. At the turn of the millennium, the company changed its name to PPI AG. To this day, PPI is majority-owned by the founding family.
Today's process flows at financial institutions and insurance companies have virtually nothing in common with those of 1984. Since its foundation, PPI has accompanied almost all technical and business upheavals in the financial services sector. The company was often among the first to offer solutions for new IT standards or processes.
"Since then, we have hardly lost a single customer – only gained new ones," says company founder Peter Pape, looking back. "We want to keep this up and further expand our position in the financial world."
